| Hey all,
Now that the band is over, I was thinking that maybe we could keep in contact through this blogger.
Be satisfied with nothing less than God,

| Yo whats up guys? Bad news. Unfortunately Cleric as we know it is
disbanding towards the end of this semster. God has gifted us and given
us an excellent ministry but it is coming to an end. This, of course,
will not put an end to our collaboration as musicians so you will hear
of up-and-coming projects as time goes on. Praise be to God that this
has been amiable and as far as we can tell there are no hard feelings-
just sadness at the thought of finishing, but excitement at what the
future has in store. At this time there is no point in going over all
the reasons, but we are all willing to talk about it if you desire.
Thanks for your support- we have really enjoyed getting to know all our
fans and we hope that the message of the gospel we carried will live on
in your hearts and minds. As for the time being here are some of the
tentative plans for specific members of the band:
Brian- collaborating heavily with Gordon over the next year on a solo classical project
Miriam- rocking on in our hearts and performing in the PBU musical
Gordon- Moving up in his position as an intern at Calvary of Souderton
and writing with Brian, leading worship at Calvary with Jon
Jon- Interning at Calvary of Souderton, possibly collaborating with
Brian on the classical project, still doing acoustic shows/recording
with Nate and others, leading worship with Gordon
Asa Bassa- transfering to Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Ill
Nate- transfering to York college near his home town and collaborating
with Jon in a more acoustic indie style/ also leading worship at
churches
Thank you to everyone who made all this possible, but first and
foremost our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for whom we played and now
continue to pursue His glory in different venues of our lives.
"There is an appoointed time for everything. And there is a time for
every event under heaven....a time to tear apart and a time to sow
together....He has made everything appropriate in its time. He also set
eternity in their heart, yet so that man will not find out the work
which God has done from the beginning even to the end......I know that
everything God does will remain forever; there is nothing to add to it
and there is nothing to take from it, for God has so worked that men
should fear Him." Ecclesiastes 3

| yo whats up!! Spring break has arrived and now is almost over! Thank God for school- especially when class is not in session!
Cleric is gearing up for the busy summer months though it doesnt look
like we will be doing too much as we all live in different parts of PA
and NY. Now that Brian is married, we have become more intentional with
the concerts and practice time that we schedule. Steph has been an
awesome addition to our team, though, so any adjustments we have had to
make are totally worth it. Miriam has nailed the lead role in PBU
production: "my fair lady,"
and we can't wait til we can watch her perform from a different angle.
Nate still doesnt have a job. Asa is going to Moody next year so that
is quite unfortunate for us. We are going to miss him but we are
excited to see what will come of the change. Gordon will be switching
to bass and Miriam and Brian will take turns on the piano so our stage
dynamic will change drastically Im sure. I am probably going to move
home for the summer but plans have not been finalized so I gues we will
have to see what happens with that.
We are really excited for our upcoming concert with Pillar, TFK, and
Jeremy Camp but we are trying to keep focused on our mission and
purpose. When things are going well, it is easy to lose focus and we
are trying to make sure that doesnt happen. We are also real excited
for our show at the Realife Cafe next Friday and we hope that a whole
lot of people can come and hang out with all our buddies in Philly. If
it weren't for Danny and DJ and all those guys I cant imagine how we
would pull it off.
Other than that, not a whole lot else is new. Hope everyone is enjoying
the shift in seasons! Dont forget to give God the glory and
remember to keep in the Word!
Peace and love from..................Jon K

| hey fellas.
today i entered us in ernie ball's battle of the bands to play on warped tour. we've probably got a snowball's chance in you-know-what of winning .. but i figured what the heck. i entered the same bio, word-for-word, that i did for the creation 2006 contest. i figured, what the heck, we'll be bold with the gospel. the bio is all about how our main purpose is to spread the word of God, and be used by God .. if, by some random joke/act of God, we get picked to play on warped tour (WT ..!? we'd die laughing, you know it), we'd be spreading the gospel. so why not let them know right up front what we're all about? i'm not gonna lie ..
i like that smiley. anywho .. and i HATE that expression .. we have a show this month at the Real Life Cafe in bridesburg, but this time we'll have gordon (HA! RELIEF!!) and hopefully we'll redeem ourselves in the eyes of the 15-year-old-mosh-so-hard-you-break-your-leg-ers. which would be awesome. time to break out the new songs, bros. amen and amen.
i'm sleepy. even though school had a 2 hour delay this morning .. THEY SHOULD DELAY TOMORROW TOO!!
i worked out with jon and nate yesterday .. i lifted weights for an hour, and i'm sore now. but they were admiring my "good form." i am so absurdly proud of myself. like, to the point of being annoying because i just can't shut up about it. i worked out a whole hour, didn't complain, did everything nate told me to do, and i did it well, and i had good form on top of it! ha!
i've been waiting, but oh tonight this one last try goes on and on and on ..
.. i feel painless.
, miriam.

| hey whats up everyone, this is Jon.
We are taking a break for a couple of weeks, maybe, to write and catch
up on sleep, so we will be back in the game at the latest on the 24th.
You can continue to pray for Gordon as he is still working through his
recent loss. You can also keep Steph and Brian in prayer as they lost a
vehicle in a car accident, but it is fortunate that no one is injured
so praise God!!
We are in the process of rethinking our style and taking to the next
level, so for all you rock and roll fans, get ready to rock harder and
harder. This is good news, but also challenging as we try to take
control of the new style and fit it into our abilities.
On a more serious note, we are looking at the message we are portraying
and trying to keep it in line with our convictions and calling. You can
keep us in prayer for that and feel free to comment if you have any
thoughts or comments. We are rethinking the angle that we are shooting
from and most of our concern stems from our conviction that we need to
be sharing the whole gospel in a clear, concise way. Thats all the band
news for now but please feel free to ask any questions or make any
suggestions.
peace and be blessed
